That is why we are proud to partner with Their Future Foundation (TFF) in supporting two incredible projects: new playgrounds for No More Victims in South Africa and Heart for Orphans in Eastern Europe.
Why This Matters
Play is more than fun. For children who have faced trauma, loss, or abandonment, play is a powerful way to heal. A playground gives them a safe space to laugh, connect, and rediscover the simple freedom of childhood. That is what drives this joint effort between Jus Agency, TFF, and our community of supporters.
Spotlight: No More Victims, South Africa
In Eldorado Park, Johannesburg, No More Victims provides emergency care and protection for vulnerable children under 18. Founded in 2015 by community leader Liesl Valloo in partnership with the Gauteng Department of Social Development, the safe house has become a refuge for children escaping substance abuse, gender-based violence, neglect, and abandonment.
In just one month, they sheltered 59 children rescued from unsafe situations. With limited resources, their focus is often on essentials like food, transport, and medical care. Yet Liesl has always dreamed of giving these children a place to laugh and play again. This playground is the first step toward that dream.
A Personal Connection
Our own Jus Agency Manager, Carlin Apollos, has a deeply personal connection to this project:
“For me, this initiative carries a deeply personal meaning. After four years of facing infertility challenges and being advised to pursue IVF, my husband and I chose adoption as our path to parenthood. That is how we were first introduced to No More Victims and to Liesl, who walked alongside us as we began the journey of fostering to adopt. It was there that we met our son, abandoned at birth, who has now been part of our family for two years. Through this experience, my connection with Liesl and the home has only deepened. I have seen firsthand both the extraordinary impact they have on children’s lives and the daily challenges they face when government funding falls short.”
Carlin’s story is at the heart of why this initiative means so much to us as an agency.
Heart for Orphans, Eastern Europe
Alongside the playground at No More Victims, TFF is also funding a second playground for Heart for Orphans, which provides homes and family-based care for children who have grown up in orphanages in Eastern Europe. Both projects carry the same mission: to restore joy and give children a safe space to simply be children again.
